The Publications Division has been awarded the Excellence in Display Award at the 2023 Delhi Book Fair

Anupama Bhatnagar, Head and Director General of Publications Division, accepted the award in the presence of senior Publications Division officers, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP), and the entire Publications Division organising team.

ITPO organised the 27th edition of the Delhi Book Fair in collaboration with FIP from July 29th to August 2nd, 2023 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's Publications Division displayed books and journals at Pragati Maidan's Stall No. 12, Hall No. 11.

The magnificent selection of books shown by the Publications Division was greatly praised by the guests. The books covered a wide range of topics, including nation building, history, and heritage, as well as biographies, reference books, and children's literature. The set of publications comprised premium volumes about Rashtrapati Bhavan as well as compilations of chosen speeches by Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Prime Ministers that were uniquely published by the Division. Visitors were equally impressed by these.

The Division's renowned reference yearly, 'India/Bharat,' was one of the main draws for stall visitors. Visitors also enjoyed the Division's excellent illustrated books on art and culture. Apurva Chandra, Information & Broadcasting Secretary, released the Division's special book 'Yojana Classics' yesterday.

Aside from books, visitors lauded Publications Division's well-known and extensively circulated publications such as Yojana, Kurukshetra, Aajkal, and Bal Bharti. Visitors commended the Division's Employment News / Rozgar Samachar for providing consistent and valuable employment updates on a weekly basis.
